'Artificial Intelligence' is currently developing in an unproductive direction. Instead of using tools like computer networks to accelerate intelligence, the big money is being steered by Google towards software tools that are geared to 'mimicking' intelligence, i.e., the same thing software and computer hardware has always done.
But by calling it "artificial intelligence" people being introduced to the field are diverted from interest in real artificial intelligence tools. See the Mikhail Sindeev page, and Huntercoin for an example of network ai, which is much more powerful than the

AI networks will be digital currency networks that have large numbers of people, on two or more different sides, which competitively develop algorithms which solve progressively more complex problems.

Melting pot societies have been consolidating old sciences, which is what melting pots do.
As artificial intelligence currencies develop, people will realize that there is an overwhelming advantage individuals raised in a homogenous "indigenous" isolated environment have in understanding and developing the most powerful kind of "artificial intelligence". People who speak language isolates like Kusunda will be a goldmine.

Part of the reason for this is that the strength of 'artificial intelligence' in the near future will be based on the 'differentness' of their composite networks. Two allied networks with different languages, cultures etc will be much faster at developing ai than two related groups.
Society, globally, is a conglomeration of powerful melting pots, at the moment. A few isolated indigenous groups in some places have a small amount of power but most indigenous people the world over are simply trying to avoid being totally consumed by one or another melting pot.
Things have gotten to the point where most melting potters consider themselves "indigenous" to their melting pot.
The "American" feels threatened by Native "outsiders". The "Chinese", the "Indian", the "Brazilian", the "Indonesian", likewise. They all consider themselves traditional old cultures who have custody of childlike indigenous people, who are a burden to them, rather than the other way around.
Once ai coins get off the ground that will change.

It has been going on this way for a long time.
